visibilità su diversi browser

Salve,
sto da poco cercando di mettere online il mio sito (qualche pagina è pronta e sto facendo alcune prove)
Ho notato che usando internet explorer non si visualizzano delle scritte del mio menu'.
Questo è il sito che ho usato per fare il menu:

usando Maxthon si vede tutto abbastanza bene ma con internet explorer non mi visualizza le scritte in nero del menù ma solo i bottoni. Cosa posso fare?
