problema .htaccess wordpress

Buongiorno,
ho caricato il sito da locale a remoto ed e' comparso il seguente problelma:

Internal Server Error

Ho visto che ci sono diversi casi che dicono sia dovuto a un problema di .htaccess però non so come risolverlo
La piattaforma su cui mi appoggio è register.it

il file .htaccess sta sui server apache e serve, tra le varie cose, a reindirizzare le pagine. Verifica sullo spazio web destinazione cosa c'e' scritto dentro, usando ftp puoi vedere i file di testo, e cerca di capire cosa dice. Lo puoi anche postare se vuoi una mano
